The NORTH AMERICAN SERIES are the most widely used screening series. There are 3 North American Series options available: the Baseline Series (NA-1000) has 50 allergens; the Extended Series (NAE-65) has 65 allergens (the Baseline plus 15 additional allergens); and the Comprehensive Series (NAC-80) has 80 allergens (the Comprehensive plus 15 additional allergens). The selection of allergens for these Series is based upon the current findings, results and conclusions drawn from the continuing research being under- taken in the patch testing field in North America. Patch Test Chambers
A small amount of each allergen to be tested is placed into a chamber (there are 10 chambers on each unit) and then placed on the patient's back.
